In the Kakslauttanen Hotel in Finland, more precisely in Lapland, Finland's Nordic region, you can experience pure nature and tranquility. In the glass igloos, nature can be experienced in a very special way. Most of all, visitors can be charmed by the Northern Lights.
Alternatively, there are eco cabins that allow several people and some are equipped with a sauna and fireplace. They are made of Lapland's unique keto wood, the Finnish name for dead and naturally dried wood from Lapland's wilderness. This makes the experience especially authentic and sustainable.
The Treehotel in Sweden is surrounded by tall trees in the northern Swedish pine forest and here you can rent a tiny house. There are various "tree houses", which all look very different and have unique names. These include The Cabin, The Ufo or Bird's Nest.
Also from here you can discover Northern Lights, either from the eco cabins, from the jacuzzi or during a guided Northern Lights tour. Here, you find relaxation at the eco cabins as well as many more activities, so there is something for everyone. For example, on a snowmobile or on a walk through the forest, you can explore the countryside, enjoy sleigh rides, horse riding, fishing or even guided yoga and meditation sessions. The food consists of local products and allows visitors to immerse even further into the northern Swedish culture.
In northern Sweden is another design object in the form of a tiny house, which bears the name Mirrorcube. It hangs near the small village of Harads and at the same time near the Arctic Circle. The mirror cube was designed by Tham and Videgård Arkitekter.
It is a 4x4x4 meter sized cube accessible via a suspension bridge. The cube reflects the surrounding forest and sky and is thus a very special eye-catcher. The plywood interior accommodates two people and consists of a double bed, a bathroom, a living room and a roof terrace, while the windows offer a 360-degree view of the surroundings. Here, visitors can experience the untouched nature of Sweden in the true sense of nature.

How amazing is this design? One of the most striking treehouses in the world is Sweden's “Mirrorcube” @treehotel. It's probably one of the most photographed too. The Mirrorcube is one of several rooms offered at the hotel and as the name suggests, it's a cube built around a tree trunk and covered in mirrored glass that allows it to blend in with the surrounding forest. The interior is clean & modern with stunning views. Holiday in eco cabins with design elements. In rural Aragon, the project "Solo Houses" gives international architects the opportunity to design 15 Tiny Houses according to their imagination. One of them, the so-called "hedonic hamster wheel", was designed by Kersten Geers and David Van Severen, for example. This is a circular holiday home built in the wooded Matarraña mountain district of Aragon. In the triangle Barcelona-Valencia-Zaragoza near the nature reserve Els Ports.
The architects used natural materials such as glass, steel and concrete, as well as marble elements and stainless steel. The architectural peculiarity: Geers and Van Severen used the love of modernism and blurred the inside and outside: the walls made of glass can be opened as desired, so each room offers a view of the landscape. The rooms are narrow, in order to get from one to the other, visitors have to go outside.
