According to Duden, the term unisex is made up of the words Unus - Latin for "one, only one" and Sexus - Latin for "gender". Translated, unisex means "one gender". From unisex to crossgender to gender neutrality - “nosex” is well received because sneakers, shirts, trench coats and the like look equally good on women and men.

But the unisex fashion is not as new as you think: In 1968 Paco Rabanne, André Courrèges and Pierre Cardin showed the "Space Age" look - the focus was on the pants, the jumpsuit and the mini skirt. In addition, Coco Chanel revolutionized women's clothing, as did Yves Saint-Laurent, by launching a fashion icon with “Le Smoking”. From 2013, unisex fashion hit the zeitgeist again, with fashion by Rad Hourani and Miuccia Prada or Vivienne Westwood. Now unisex fashion and cosmetics are available almost everywhere, we show the top brands in trend.
