LITTLE GREENE - SUSTAINABILITY
Environmentally friendly colours
The paints are made in a traditional paint factory in North Wales. The brand stands out because all water-based paints have a very good ecological balance with almost zero VOC (volatile organic compounds). The colours are therefore almost odorless.
Holistic sustainability aspect
The oil colours are made from sustainable vegetable oils. The paper for the wallpapers comes from FSC or PEFC certified, sustainably managed forests. For every tree that is cut down, four new ones are planted. The paint cans are made from over 50% recycled steel.
Traditional craftsmanship
Despite avoiding unnecessary chemicals and using natural raw materials, the colours of Little Greene offer high coverage thanks to their highly pigmented formulations. With historical roots from the 18th century, the company stands for conscious and calculated quantities as well as traditional craftsmanship instead of automation.
