Greenpeace: Greenwash Danger Zone

A growing number of consumers are recognizing the negative impact of fashion on the environment and society and are making responsible choices. However, the world of sustainability seals, labels, pictograms, acronyms and claims can be overwhelming. Many of these labels are green, but fast fashion is also often marketed as sustainable. To uncover the veracity of these claims, Greenpeace analyzed the self-assessed marketing labels to determine their reliability and reach.
