Fairtrade Cashmere | Traceability | Respect for animals & humans
FTC® stands for "Fair Trade Cashmere" and a special attitude towards life. With the traceability of its own value chain, the family business is setting new sustainability standards. With a focus on social, economic, cultural and ecological values, FTC® defines sustainability holistically, which the OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN label underlines. Innovation and modern production methods complement this approach. In addition, the support of climate projects leads to a climate-neutral range.
POSITIVE ENGAGEMENTS
FTC - SUSTAINABILITY
Transparency & traceability
With its own cashmere farm and production facility in China, the family business guarantees transparency and traceability along the entire vertical supply chain. The company controls every step from agriculture to animal welfare to the order-related manufacture of the goods. Only local resources and traditional craftsmanship are used.
Holistic sustainability
To protect nature and the local community, FTC® uses a water treatment system and relies on renewable energies with solar systems. The family business works with Oeko-Tex, Haelixa and ClimatePartner to ensure the integrity of its commitment. It is also socially committed by investing in education in the region and supporting the financial and physical well-being of employees through various projects.
Innovative production methods
The FTC® product lines stand for technical innovation and sustainability. Collections made from patented Seacell, a regenerative and plant-based fiber, and a cashmere-cotton blend are not only environmentally friendly, but also kind to the skin. By using trend-setting processes such as upcycling and biodegradable natural materials, the company also avoids waste and in some cases produces zero waste. All models are 100% carbon neutral and are shipped in plastic-free, recyclable packaging.
