That's why the German Design Council - shortly after the this year's award ceremony, which made a forward-looking statement for newcomers and eco design - encouraging companies, designers, architects and agencies worldwide to submit their products and projects for the German Design Award 2024. The registration deadline is September 1, 2023.

Design: Predicting and driving green & social trends

Since the German Design Award was first announced in 2012, it has advanced to become the international benchmark for innovative design development and competitiveness. In other words: The price defines the rules of tomorrow's game for the global market.

Award-winning concepts are therefore considered indicators of how the industry will develop.
